Britta's Boudoir exists to empower you along your journey of self-acceptance, self-healing, and self-love.

My job as a boudoir photographer is to help you along your journey of self-love. It's such an important journey, but hard to do alone. Our economy is strengthened by selling us the idea that we're not enough. But it's time to take that back. Through the very same medium we use to compare ourselves, I create images that you can look back on, over and over, and say to yourself, "I am enough."

What IS Boudoir?

Boudoir is a very personal and intimate experience. For me, it's about humans taking back dignity and sexual expression, and I have found that a lens is a powerful aid that helps us see the truth of our own beauty.

When you work with me, you will see that I walk you through every step of the way and work hard to make sure you feel comfortable and confident.

We start with a consultation, where I explain what the process will look like and answer any questions that you have. You won't pay the session fee to book your spot until you are absolutely confident and ready.

Next, I design your shoot! I'll have you fill out a questionnaire that will help me understand what you're looking for, and I will put everything together (makeup ideas, hair ideas, lingerie, and some poses that you might for sure want) and work with you until you love it.

Day of - we start at 8am! My fabulous hair and makeup team - Renee and Shauna - will work with you to get you ready.

And then we shoot! For a typical shoot, this will be about 2 hours.
